What is Turbocharger | Turbocharger function & Principle

Image
TURBOCHARGER Turbocharger is a mechanical device which increases the horse power, efficiency and speed of a vehicle. It's main objective is to provide the maximum amount of air to the cylinder of the engine. So that it can burn more fuel at each second at the faster rate which was wasted due to lag of oxygen, when a turbo is used to exceed the pressure is called turbocharging. it was invented by alferd  j.buchi (1879 - 1959)in 1905, an automotive engineer. It was design to reduce the size the of engine. Before we go to turbocharger let discuss The basic of engine it comprises of four strokes diesel engine it will help you to understand. Why diesel engine only ?   Because turbocharger are mainly placed in diesel engine to increases the volumetric efficiency of a combustion chamber and to increases the air inlet pressure  produced by the exhaust gas. four strokes are given below: suction strokes (air intakes) compression stroke (air gets started ...

What is differential?how DIFFERENTIAL work|mechanicalhustle

Image
DIFFERENTIAL DIFFERENTIAL is a mechanical device which allow the drive wheels of a vehicle to rotate at a different speed. Here differential play a vital role while taking a turn or cornering and it distribute the torque which is generated by the engine or motor into two equal halves to the wheels , here the speed reduction is also take place from pinion gear to ring gear , which is also called as axle ratio. OPEN DIFFERENTIAL In this type of differential torque remain constant it is 50:50 to the drive tire , then how differential works in different condition. OPEN DIFFERENTIAL  case 1 when vehicle is running straight without taking a turn. In this case power is coming from engine or any another source to pinion gear and it transmits to ring gear and spider gear are attached to ring gear so when vehicle starts , ring gear starts rotating and it transmit the power to the spider gear , it pushes the side gears and the half shaft starts rotating then automatic...
